A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an Associate and Associate Director - Fire Engineering to manage a variety of projects from Scotland to London. The role involves ensuring innovative architectural designs meet fire safety standards while providing mentorship and professional development support for engineers. Candidates should possess a degree in engineering, with extensive experience in fire engineering. This position offers the flexibility to work from home two days a week and opportunities for further qualification and training.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
• BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of projects including high-rise residential towers.
• Liaise with other WSP disciplines and local authorities.
• Present designs to local authorities and ensure fire safety.
