Job summary

CPS Group (UK) Limited is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Cardiff team in a genuinely hybrid role, with 1 day in the office. The role blends data analysis, modelling, reporting and elements of data engineering, offering career development and close collaboration with technical data teams and senior stakeholders.

You will design, build and optimise analytical data models, pipelines and Power BI solutions, translating business requirements into actionable insights and ensuring data quality

Qualifications

Commercial experience in a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer or similar role.
Strong SQL skills and experience with modern analytical data environments.
Experience designing and maintaining analytical data models (fact/dimension tables).
Hands-on experience with data pipelines, transformations and queries.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain analytical data models and dashboards.
Develop and optimise data pipelines and SQL queries for reliable datasets.
Support data quality, integrity, traceability and documentation across environments.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business insight.
Translate requirements into analytical metrics, measures and visualisations.
Support integration of data from multiple systems into analytical environments.
