Job summary

The Co-operative Bank, now part of Coventry Building Society, seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Financial Crime Risk Assessments function in a hybrid role. You will drive enterprise-wide risk assessments across AML, sanctions and fraud, working with senior stakeholders to challenge and strengthen risk management.

This 2LoD position requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making and proven expertise in financial crime risk frameworks.

Qualifications

• Extensive financial crime experience in banking or regulated FS environments.
• Strong track record in financial crime risk assessments.
• Knowledge of AML, sanctions and fraud risk management.
• Leadership experience in a 2nd line risk or oversight function.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide financial crime risk assessments across AML, sanctions and fraud.
• Oversee customer and third-party risk assessment methodologies.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to challenge and strengthen risk management.
