Job summary

Astute Recruitment invites a qualified Accountant to join its established group accounting function, focused on accurate financial accounting and reporting while driving process improvements.

Duties include financial accounting and control for cost centres, month-end close, group reporting, and statutory accounts. Hybrid working, 25 days holiday, pension with life insurance, and staff discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified (or finalist) ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
• UK accounting experience including VAT and tax.
• Experience in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong data interpretation and communication of findings.
• Ability to build relationships across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Financial accounting and control for cost centre reporting and transactional processes.
• Support with preparation of annual management plan and forecasts.
• Provide financial reports to business functions.
• Financial accounting and month-end close.
• Control of head office cost recharges.
• Assist with monthly group reporting and statutory accounts.
