Job summary

Jollyes is seeking a Financial Operations Manager (Retail AP/AR) in a hybrid role based in Waltham Abbey. You will supervise AP and AR teams, optimise cash flow, and ensure audit compliance across inventory, CAPEX and vendor agreements.

The role demands leadership, ERP & Excel proficiency, and a drive for process automation. The package includes a salary of £40-55k depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits programme and bonus scheme.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred; professional certifications advantageous.
Experience leading AP/AR teams and managing people.
Strong Excel and ERP system experience; analytical mindset and cross‑department collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams; oversee workflows and performance.
Oversee supplier invoicing, PO matching and payment runs; resolve disputes.
Manage billing, cash allocation and credit control; set credit limits.
Maximise vendor recoveries through rebates and credits.
Provide cash flow forecasts and ageing reports to senior management.
Close AP/AR sub-ledgers during Month-End; ensure reconciliations and journals.
Maintain robust controls and assist with audits; drive process automation.
Identify bottlenecks and lead automation projects (OCR, ERP upgrades).
