Sharp Consultancy are supporting a well-established Leeds-based business in seeking a Finance Assistant to join its finance team on a 10-month fixed-term contract.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern, with four days working from home and one day per week in the Leeds office. The successful candidate will handle purchase and sales ledger duties, supported by the Finance Manager, and contribute to a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger or Sales Ledger is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices; match, batch and code invoices and prepare payment runs.
• Raise and process customer invoices; allocate incoming payments and reconcile accounts.
• Assist with credit control activities and resolving customer queries.
• Provide general finance administration and support to the wider finance team.
