Job summary

Homeless Link is hiring a Finance Assistant in Head Office with hybrid working. The role covers income and expenditure processing, banking, reconciliations, reporting and administration. The salary is £30,000 per year for 37.5 hours per week on a permanent/fixed-term basis.

You will join a busy finance team and contribute to accurate financial information, supporting change and improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance or transactional processing.
• Experience processing financial transactions accurately.
• Experience using finance or accounting systems.
• Experience maintaining accurate financial records.
• Experience using Excel and Office applications.
• Experience providing a professional service to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Raising sales invoices and processing income transactions.
• Monitoring and allocating cash and reconciling receipts.
• Processing supplier invoices and expenses.
• Assisting with supplier payments and month-end activities.
• Maintaining auditable financial records and responding to queries.
• Supporting improvements to systems and processes.
