Job summary

Oxa, based in the UK, seeks engineers for its Launchpad team to advance autonomous vehicle systems in real-world environments. You will work across software, hardware, and field testing, building maps, debugging issues, and delivering end-to-end solutions for autonomous fleets.

Expect hands-on work with vehicles and possible UAE secondments. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team tackling cutting-edge robotics, AI, and cloud tooling in a hybrid setup with global partners and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly across hardware/software boundary.
• Familiarity with software development processes, scripting, automation, and tooling.
• Experience with C++, ROS, Linux, and Git/CI.

Responsibilities

• Operate, test, and debug autonomy systems in real-world field conditions.
• Build and maintain maps for vehicle testing.
• Analyze data to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and translate requirements.
• Identify functionality gaps and contribute to hotfixes and new features.
• Hybrid role requiring hands-on work with autonomous vehicles.
• Travel to the UAE for seconded periods; no passport restrictions or criminal record.
