Job summary

EV Tech Recruit is partnering with a Kent-based automotive garage to recruit a Multi-Skilled Vehicle Technician/Mechanic. The role covers servicing, maintenance and repairs across petrol, diesel, hybrid and EV powertrains for fleet and private customers.

The position is full-time in Kent, SE England, with 8:00–5:30 hours, 22 days leave, potential overtime and long-term career opportunities. Starting ASAP with notice considered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and general mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose faults in petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Service passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Undertake MOT preparation and related repairs.
• Replace cambelts and clutches where trained.
• Identify additional maintenance and repair requirements.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure customer vehicles are completed to a high standard.
• Follow health and safety procedures around hybrid/electric systems.
