Job summary

Ev Tech Recruit in Sevenoaks, Kent is seeking an Experienced Multi-Skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy independent workshop. You will service, diagnose and repair petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles, with a focus on cambelt, wet belt and clutch work.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, in a full-time permanent role offering £35,000–£45,000 per year depending on experience. The ideal candidate has IMI Level 2 and solid hands-on experience in a professional workshop.

Qualifications

• Minimum IMI Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Proven hands-on experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician in a professional workshop.
• Strong practical experience with cambelt, wet belt and clutch repairs.
• Competence in servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
• Experience on passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and diagnose faults accurately.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across multiple makes and models.
• Undertake cambelt, wet belt and clutch replacements confidently and independently.
• Perform engine, brake and suspension repairs and other mechanical maintenance.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and recommend repairs.
• Work on petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric vehicles within training limits.
• Ensure work meets manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
