Job summary

UK Shared Business Services (UKSBS) is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor on an Inside IR35 3-month contract based in Swindon or Newport with occasional office attendance.

You will manage ER cases, advise managers, lead investigations, and support policy development, ensuring compliance with employment law and ACAS guidance while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information. Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels and coaching managers to build capability will be key.

Qualifications

• Experience managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and ACAS guidance.
• Ability to coach and influence managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate employee relations cases with timely advice to managers.
• Lead investigations, disciplinary hearings and grievance meetings.
• Develop and update HR policies in line with legislation and best practice.
• Partner with senior leaders to support broader people agenda.
• Maintain accurate casework records and trackers.
