Job summary

Experis UK in Manchester is seeking an experienced Environments & Release Lead to oversee planning, coordination and governance of releases across cloud and on-premise services. You will ensure safe, efficient deployments with minimal disruption to operations.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with development, testing, CAB, and third-party suppliers to maintain an accurate release calendar, manage environment availability, and drive continuous improvement of release and environment

Qualifications

• Experience in Release Management, Change Management, Environment Management, or Service Transition.
• Experience coordinating releases across cloud and on-premise environments.
• ITIL knowledge or certification.
• Experience supporting CAB processes and major deployment activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the release calendar across multiple technology platforms.
• Coordinate environment availability across Development, Test, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
• Lead release planning and deployment readiness activities.
• Review implementation plans, testing evidence, and release readiness criteria.
• Chair and contribute to Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
• Identify and mitigate release, deployment, and environment risks.
• Coordinate go-live activities and ensure smooth operational handover.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of release and environment management processes.
