Experis IT in Manchester is seeking an Environments & Release Lead to oversee planning, coordination, and governance of releases across cloud and on-premise environments. This senior role requires strong leadership, risk management, and excellent stakeholder engagement to minimise disruption to business operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Release Management, Change Management, Environment Management, or Service Transition.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the release calendar across multiple technology platforms.
• Coordinate environment availability across Development, Test, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
• Lead release planning and deployment readiness activities.
• Review implementation plans, testing evidence, and release readiness criteria.
• Chair and contribute to Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
• Identify and mitigate release, deployment, and environment risks.
• Coordinate go-live activities and ensure smooth operational handover.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of release and environment management processes.
