Job summary

Principal People Recruitment are working with a leading infrastructure contractor to recruit an Environmental Advisor supporting projects across the Thames Valley on a hybrid basis.

Providing practical environmental advice to site teams, you’ll help implement environmental strategies, conduct audits, and drive improvements in standards while ensuring compliance across major infrastructure programmes. The role offers a salary up to £50,000, a comprehensive package and ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• Relevant environmental qualification (ISEP or equivalent) or degree.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure or utilities sector.
• ISEP Practitioner membership, or working towards it, would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical environmental advice and guidance to site and operational teams across the framework.
• Support the implementation of environmental strategies, policies and management systems.
• Conduct site inspections, environmental audits and compliance reviews.
• Investigate environmental incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor environmental performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support subcontractors and supply chain partners in meeting environmental requirements.
• Build effective relationships with project teams, clients and external stakeholders.
