Job summary

MBDA is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead electronic engineering projects from bid to delivery. You will collaborate with engineers, suppliers and customers to ensure successful outcomes and hold a pivotal role in our dynamic, hybrid team.

The role offers a salary of £50,000–£55,000 depending on experience, with full-time or part-time flexibility and blended on-site/remote working to suit project needs. UK security checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects in an engineering environment.
• Confident planning and managing schedules, budgets and risk, ideally with Primavera P6.
• A technical degree (ideally electronics) or equivalent experience.
• A project management qualification or the willingness to work towards one.
• Clear communication and the ability to bring people with you.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to time, cost and quality, owning the plan, schedule, budget and risks.
• Work with engineering teams, suppliers and customers to keep everyone aligned.
• Contribute to bids and supply chain management.
• Coach and support Engineering Project Coordinators as they develop.
• Help us improve how we deliver, and share what works.
