Job summary

Elekta in Crawley is seeking an Engineering & Operations Manager for IntelliMax to lead Software, Test, DevOps, Platform and Operations teams, delivering a scalable, secure, and high‑performing connected device and IoT platform.

You will mentor engineers, drive Agile/DevOps practices, collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, QA, Infrastructure and Cyber Security to realise strategic roadmaps and ensure production resilience.

Qualifications

Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience leading and developing engineering teams in software/cloud/platform environments.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Proficient in Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

Lead a multidisciplinary engineering organisation spanning Software, Test, DevOps, Platform and Operations.
Drive delivery of new platform capabilities while ensuring production stability and resilience.
Champion Agile and DevOps practices to improve delivery quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, QA, Infrastructure and Cyber Security to achieve objectives.
Contribute to strategic technology and product roadmaps.
