Job summary

National Gas in Warwick is seeking an Emergency Response & Resilience Specialist to strengthen operational readiness and incident response across our critical infrastructure. You will work across teams and with external partners to develop continuity plans, run tests, and embed best practice in emergency planning at the National Control Center.

Applicants should have resilience experience, strong communication, and the ability to obtain Security Clearance; a degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in business continuity, resilience or emergency planning within a complex or critical environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience developing and maintaining continuity plans and documentation.
• Understanding of the UK resilience framework and best practices.
• Ability to operate at tactical and strategic levels.
• Excellent communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.
• Degree or equivalent experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain business continuity frameworks aligned to policy and standards
• Ensure impact assessments and continuity docs are up to date
• Designing and delivering testing and exercise programmes to validate resilience plans
• Building strong relationships with key resilience partners, including emergency services and government bodies
• Embedding best practice in emergency planning and response across the National Control Center
• Identifying training needs and supporting capability development for colleagues involved in incident response
