Job summary

SGN is seeking an Emergency Planning & Resilience Manager to join the dedicated resilience team. You will lead planning, training and exercising programmes to ensure incident readiness across SGN networks and operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

You will work within a hybrid remit, coordinating with Gas Control, Cyber Security and Business Continuity to embed improvements and respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in emergency planning, resilience or business continuity, ideally in a responder context.
• Knowledge of Civil Contingencies Act 2004, JESIP, COMAH or MAHP is advantageous.
• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to Executives and Senior Leaders during planning and response.
• Provide expert advice on emergency planning and incident response across networks.
• Develop and deliver training, testing and exercising programmes for all levels.
