Job summary

Turner Property Recruitment is assisting a client in Winchester to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer. The role offers hybrid working and exposure to high-profile schemes across residential, commercial, healthcare, defence, retail and large-scale developments.

You will deliver electrical design calculations, develop CAD/BIM designs with Revit, attend client meetings and present solutions to multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Experience in electrical design within consultancy or contractor environment
• Working towards chartered status or keen to progress
• Strong experience with design software including Amtech, Dialux or similar
• Proficient in CAD and ideally Revit
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Motivated, organised and keen to develop

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical design calculations using Amtech, Dialux and Relux
• Deliver designs using CAD and BIM tools including Revit
• Attend client and project meetings, presenting design solutions
• Undertake condition surveys and technical assessments
• Carry out third-party design reviews
• Support project delivery from inception through to completion
• Contribute to site monitoring and oversee installation works
