Job summary

Turner Property Recruitment is assisting a client in recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing Built Asset Consultancy in the South West. The role covers design and advisory work across public sector, commercial, education and environmental projects in a hybrid Bristol-based team.

You will deliver electrical design from early feasibility through to detailed design (RIBA 0–4), conduct asset surveys and provide technical advice.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Chartered or working towards MCIBSE or equivalent.
• Experience delivering electrical design independently in consultancy or site-based environments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing capability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design from RIBA Stage 0 to 4.
• Undertake feasibility studies and technical assessments.
• Produce electrical drawings and full tender documentation.
• Carry out electrical condition, PPM and pre-acquisition surveys.
• Act as technical advisor to clients and support contractor design reviews.
• Monitor electrical works on site, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Work closely with internal teams to support project delivery and commercial outcomes.

Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing Built Asset Consultancy team in the South West.

This is a key role for an experienced Electrical Engineer who is comfortable delivering both design and advisory services across a wide range of sectors including public sector, commercial, education and environmental projects.

You will play a leading role in delivering electrical design from early feasibility through to detailed stages, while also supporting clients with technical advice, asset surveys and project delivery.

The Role

Deliver electrical design from RIBA Stage 0 to 4 Undertake feasibility studies and technical assessments Produce electrical drawings and full tender documentation Carry out electrical condition, PPM and pre-acquisition surveys Act as technical advisor to clients and support contractor design reviews Monitor electrical works on site, ensuring quality and compliance Work closely with internal teams to support project delivery and commercial outcomes

About You
