Job summary

Turner Property Recruitment is sourcing an Electrical Engineer for a growing team in Cardiff. The role offers hybrid working and exposure to diverse building services projects across South Wales.

You will develop electrical designs from concept through to completion, using Revit, CAD and Amtech, with involvement in multiple sectors and high-profile schemes. This is an excellent opportunity to grow technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience delivering electrical design across RIBA stages.
• Strong understanding of design calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Experience with Revit and design tools such as Amtech beneficial.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Working towards or interested in professional registration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design including calculations, reports and detailed solutions.
• Use CAD and BIM tools including Revit to produce compliant designs.
• Undertake design calculations to support technical solutions.
• Carry out site surveys, inspections and defect reporting.
• Review construction design details and provide technical input.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers and contractors.
• Attend project and technical meetings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and health and safety standards.
