Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant to join our Environmental Planning team in the UK. You will lead EIA activities for major infrastructure, water, energy and environmental projects, guiding consent and delivery from feasibility through to implementation.

You will work with planners, engineers, and environmental specialists to provide strategic advice, manage stakeholders, and help clients navigate UK planning regimes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for various clients.
• Knowledge of UK planning and consenting frameworks such as DCO and Transport & Works Act.
• Experience coordinating environmental workstreams within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills.
• Degree or master’s in a relevant environmental, planning or scientific field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Environmental Impact Assessments and environmental coordination across projects.
• Provide strategic advice to clients and support consenting processes.
• Work closely with planners, engineers and environmental specialists to ensure successful outcomes.
• Contribute to the portfolio spanning renewable energy, water resources, utilities and major developments.
