Job summary

Jacobs in the UK is seeking an experienced EIA Consultant to join our Water & Environment team. You’ll deliver Environmental Impact Assessments, coordinate environmental aspects on major infrastructure projects, and help clients navigate consenting processes.

Working on renewable energy, utilities, and national infrastructure schemes, you’ll join multidisciplinary teams, offer strategic guidance, and support delivery from feasibility through consent to implementation. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and environmental coordination for multiple clients.
• Knowledge of environmental assessment methodologies and UK environmental legislation.
• Experience with UK planning/consenting frameworks such as DCO, Transport and Works Act, Town & Country Planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Environmental Impact Assessments and environmental coordination across projects.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams to provide strategic client advice.
• Help drive successful project outcomes from feasibility to consent and delivery.
