Jacobs is seeking an experienced EIA professional to join our Environmental Planning team in the UK. You will lead environmental assessment and consenting strategies on major infrastructure projects, guiding clients and regulators to deliver compliant, sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects within infrastructure sectors.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams across disciplines.
• Chartered status, or commitment to achieve chartership, with a relevant body such as ISEP/CIWEM/IES.
• Degree in environmental, planning, scientific or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessment and consenting strategies on major UK projects.
• Guide clients, regulators and specialists to navigate planning processes successfully.
• Develop and mentor project teams, strengthening client relationships.
• Drive delivery of flagship infrastructure programmes with focus on sustainability and net-zero goals.
• Collaborate across portfolios including energy, water, utilities and transport.
