Jacobs seeks an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant to drive major UK infrastructure, water, energy and environmental projects. You will join the Environmental Planning team, shaping environmental strategies and coordinating assessment work.

You’ll help clients navigate planning frameworks, secure consents, and deliver sustainable development while benefiting from flexible, hybrid working arrangements and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and environmental coordination for a range of clients
• Knowledge of environmental assessment methodologies and UK environmental legislation
• Experience working within UK planning and consenting frameworks, including DCO, Transport and Works Act, Town & Country Planning, or similar regimes
• Good awareness and understanding of relevant stakeholders
• A degree or master's qualification in a relevant environmental, planning or scientific discipline

Responsibilities

• Deliver Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and coordinate environmental work for clients
• Contribute to planning, consenting and strategy within multidisciplinary project teams
• Provide strategic environmental advice to clients to support project outcomes
