Job summary

Nesta’s Mission Studio is seeking an Ecosystem & Partnerships Lead to rapidly build networks around new ventures and investment theses in the UK. You will identify stakeholders, reach out through events and introductions, and manage ongoing relationships to support venture growth.

You will work closely with studio leadership to map ecosystems, develop engagement plans, and grow communities of experts, founders and users.

Qualifications

• 3+ year experience in a partnerships, community, business development or similar role.
• Excellent ability to map stakeholders and ecosystems across sectors.
• Proactive outreach and relationship management to engage partners.
• Maintain and improve CRM processes and engagement cadences.
• Experience building engaged communities around shared interests.
• Ability to identify founders and talent through networks and outreach.
• Experience leveraging existing networks in the UK startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Build ecosystems around new investment theses and map key players.
• Identify who to engage and develop routes to reach them.
• Proactively build relationships via outreach, events and partnerships.
• Own CRM and keep contacts engaged at the right times.
• Create and manage communities around priority themes with stakeholders.
• Support recruitment and scouting campaigns to find exceptional people.
• Represent Mission Studio at events and bring intelligence back to the team.
