Job summary

Nesta in London is recruiting an Ecosystem & Partnerships Lead to join Mission Studio. You will rapidly build networks around ventures, identify key stakeholders, and develop routes to engage them.

You’ll build communities, manage relationships, and scout talent across sectors, with a focus on UK startup ecosystems and Nesta mission areas. This is a hybrid role with office days in London.

Qualifications

• Rapidly build partnerships and networks across sectors.
• Map ecosystems and key stakeholders in unfamiliar markets.
• Proactively reach out and cultivate enduring relationships.
• Maintain CRM hygiene and engagement cadences.
• Build and nurture communities around priority themes.
• Identify founders and talent across networks; recruiting a plus.
• Leverage existing UK startup ecosystem connections or Nesta missions.

Responsibilities

• Map key people, organisations, communities and events in new sectors.
• Identify who to engage (experts, users, founders, partners) and how to reach them.
• Proactively build relationships via outreach, introductions, events and partnerships.
• Own CRM strategy and keep contacts engaged and re‑engaged.
• Create communities of experts, users, founders and stakeholders.
• Support talent scouting and targeted recruitment campaigns.
• Represent Nesta at events and bring market intelligence back to the team.
