Job summary

VIQU IT Recruitment is recruiting a Digital Project Support Officer to back project managers in a Wales NHS context. The role is hybrid (2-3 days onsite) in Cardiff with a fixed-term contract until November 2027 and a salary around £32,000.

You will support planning, admin, reporting and monitoring of digital projects, ensuring delivery to quality, time and budget, and you will own designated project activities and communications.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or administering projects.
• Degree-level education or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of project planning, monitoring and control techniques.
• PRINCE2 training, formal or informal, or willingness to work towards attainment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new applications.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience drafting reports and taking meeting minutes.
• Ability to understand wider programme objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of digital projects.
• Provide administrative and organisational support to Project Managers and project boards.
• Monitor project progress against agreed milestones and objectives.
• Take ownership of designated project activities and monitor their delivery.
• Prepare project reports, documentation and meeting minutes.
• Facilitate project activities and support effective communication.
• Help ensure projects meet agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
• Support the wider objectives of the programme.
