Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is modernising through cloud technology to deliver secure, resilient platforms for engineering teams. We are seeking a DevOps-focused Infrastructure Specialist to join our Private Cloud Platform, working with middleware such as IBM DataPower, IBM MQ and WebSphere/Liberty.

You will design automated delivery capabilities, build pipelines, provisioning, configuration and upgrades, and deliver observable, secure services in a hybrid private cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Good knowledge of Git and version-controlled delivery.
• Scripting/automation with Python, Bash, Salt, Ansible or PowerShell.
• Ability to translate requirements into maintainable automation.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration in an enterprise environment.
• Willingness to learn middleware technologies.

Responsibilities

• Turn requirements into automated, reusable deployment and operational patterns.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and self-service tooling.
• Automate middleware lifecycle activities: provisioning, configuration, testing, upgrades.
• Collaborate with platform, product, application, security and supplier teams.
• Create secure, observable solutions with good testing and documentation.
