Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to join the Private Cloud Platform team in a hybrid Leeds/Manchester role. You will design, build and improve automated delivery for middleware services, turning requirements into reliable pipelines and self-service workflows while supporting provisioning, configuration, upgrades and routine changes.

This hands-on DevOps-focused role requires experience with CI/CD, automation scripting and middleware technologies, with a view to

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using listed tools.
• Good working knowledge of Git with version-controlled delivery.
• Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Ansible or PowerShell.
• Ability to work with technical SMEs to turn requirements into automation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration in enterprise environments.
• Willingness to learn middleware technologies.
• Writing clear technical documentation and taking ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Turn requirements into automated deployment and operational patterns.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and self-service tooling.
• Automate middleware lifecycle activities including provisioning and upgrades.
• Collaborate with platform, product, application, security and supplier teams.
