Netcompany, Leeds, United Kingdom, is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Python) to implement and support improvements, efficiency, and software quality to accelerate delivery times. You will join a multi-disciplinary team including Development, QA, IT Operations, Infosec, and UCD, focusing on automation and best DevOps practices.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, and Python scripting, along with GitOps and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

Experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong automation focus.
Hands-on experience with AWS and CI/CD pipeline creation/maintenance.
Practical experience using Terraform, Kubernetes and Helm.
Experience in Python scripting.
Familiarity with multiple ecosystem databases and integrations.
Experience with monitoring tools for reliability and performance.
Strong understanding of container orchestration and package management with Kubernetes/Helm.
Experience with AWS Cloud.
CI/CD expertise, especially Jenkins.
Database schema change management (Liquibase).
Ability to write automation scripts in Python.
Knowledge of GitOps principles.
Proactive, automation-driven mindset and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
