Job summary

Experis is seeking an Application Developer (DevOps) in London with hybrid work options and UK-wide remote availability. The role focuses on environment management, development and testing of Java features, and continuous improvement of delivery pipelines within a nationally critical programme.

You will configure infrastructure with Ansible, develop in Python on AWS, and support CI/CD via GitLab. Expect UNIX/RHEL administration and testing with Behave/Cucumber as part of a delivery team.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring infrastructure and applications using Ansible.
• Solid Python ability and practical AWS cloud experience.
• Experience with GitLab pipelines.
• Unix administration and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with RHEL environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support infrastructure, middleware, and applications using Ansible.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Python and AWS cloud services.
• Support CI/CD through GitLab pipelines.
• Carry out day-to-day UNIX administration and scripting using Bash.
• Work with RHEL operating systems to keep environments stable and performant.
• Contribute to development and testing with Behave/Cucumber.
• Develop, test, and maintain application capabilities within the programme alongside delivery teams.
