Job summary

Reuters Imagen is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join the hybrid team in the United Kingdom. You will learn to deploy and maintain the Imagen platform across AWS or Azure, onboard partners, and automate ingest workflows using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with Python/PowerShell, SQL databases, and REST APIs while collaborating with content partners and Reuters Connect stakeholders. A strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Scripting in PowerShell and/or Python.
• Familiarity with SQL/relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB).
• Version control with Git and PR review concepts.
• Experience with XML/JSON and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Learn to deploy, configure, troubleshoot and maintain Imagen platform installations across multiple cloud environments.
• Onboard new content partners, configure ingest pipelines and tests.
• Integrate customer Imagen systems with Reuters Connect via API credentials, storage and delivery profiles.
• Maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines for serverless ingest functions.
• Develop automation for ingest workflows, watch folders, and API integrations in Python/PowerShell.
• Investigate failed ingests and incidents, log analysis and root-cause actions.
