Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing engineering team, building capability and supporting continuous development.
• Own the delivery of engineering change, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and aligned to business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams and architecture to shape solutions and influence longer-term technology plans.
• Manage third-party partners, ensuring delivery meets agreed standards, commitments and expectations.
• Set and uphold engineering standards, assuring technical quality, risk management and best practice.
• Oversee planning and prioritisation, balancing delivery, cost, risk and resource management.
• Contribute to budget planning, forecasting and cost centre management.
• Act as a deputy to senior engineering leadership, supporting succession planning and wider capability development.
