Eastleigh Borough Council is seeking a commercially focused Depot Manager to lead operational depots, ensuring health & safety compliance and robust performance management. The role covers staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within Hedge End Depot.

The position is full time (37 hours/week) with a salary of £39,401 (Band 6) and benefits including hybrid options and pension. Closing date 15 November 2026.

Competenze

• Extensive knowledge of depot operations management practices and methods.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, LOLER and PUWER regulations.

• Oversee day-to-day depot operations in coordination with Service Managers.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and regulatory standards.
• Set targets, monitor resources and drive continuous improvement.
