Job summary

Grw Talent Ltd is recruiting a Depot Manager to run the East London depot (E17) within our Supply Chain team. You will be the senior on site, lead the on‑site team, own stock accuracy and drive customer satisfaction with continuous improvement.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with real ownership and room to grow, working 40 hours per week. Key duties include managing day‑to‑day depot operations, stock control, processing orders in SAGE, resolving on‑site issues and supporting procurement and

Qualifications

• Experience managing a depot, warehouse or stores operation.
• Proven ability to lead a small on-site team.
• Strong stock control skills with cost awareness.
• Confident handling customer issues and on-site decisions.
• Experience with SAGE or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety and safe site operation.
• Improvement mindset with exposure to 5S, Lean or Tier meetings.
• Light assembly or production oversight experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Keeping stock accurate through regular stock checks in line with company policy
• Optimising stock levels, reorder quantities and costs while maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Overseeing light production and assembly as required
• Entering and processing orders through the SAGE system
• Acting as senior person on site, resolving customer service issues
• Supporting daily Tier meetings to align the team on priorities and customer needs
• Managing the maintenance and safe operation of the facility
• Supporting procurement when needed, including sourcing alternative suppliers and getting quotes
• Working with the Warehouse Manager to improve operational maturity and 5S standards

Contract: Permanent, full time role, 40 hours per week

Our client is growing, and they are looking for a Depot Manager to run their East London (E17) depot within the Supply Chain team. You'll be the senior person on site. You'll lead the depot team, own stock accuracy, keep customers happy and drive continuous improvement. It's a hands-on leadership role with real ownership and room to grow. You will be working 40 hours per week, 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday with a 3pm finish on a Friday.

What we're looking for:

• Strong stock control skills, with an eye for accuracy and cost
• Confidence handling customer issues and making decisions on site
• Experience with SAGE or a similar order processing or ERP system
• Knowledge of health and safety and safe site operation
• An improvement mindset, ideally with exposure to 5S, Lean or Tier meetings
• Light assembly or production oversight experience would be a bonus
