Job summary

Vax is seeking a proactive Demand Planner to join our team in Droitwich on a hybrid basis (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). You will shape demand forecasts, analyze trends and provide insights to inform commercial and supply chain decisions.

With 1–3 years in Demand Planning or related roles, you will use Excel and ERP systems to maintain data, monitor forecast accuracy and drive improvements across the business. A collaborative, data-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain, or related analytical role.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills.
• Stakeholder management with confidence to challenge and influence decisions.
• Understanding of how demand, sales and stock affect outcomes.
• Highly organized and proactive in driving improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and review demand forecasts using historical data and trends.
• Analyse sales performance and forecast variances to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams on promotions, launches and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Finance to align forecasts with stock and business objectives.
• Challenge forecast assumptions using data and commercial insights.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and biases; identify root causes and propose corrections.
• Use Excel and ERP/planning systems to maintain data and generate reports.
• Highlight supply and demand risks and assist in developing solutions.
• Contribute to regular planning reviews and cross-functional meetings.
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting processes and data quality.
