Job summary

MBDA Missile Systems in Stevenage seeks a Software Test Engineer to join the Integration Missile Validation (IMV) team within the Weapon System Simulation and Experimentation department. You will perform end-to-end testing for real-time simulation, plan tests, and report results in a defence context.

The role offers hybrid working (3–4 days on-site) with a strong benefits package including a company bonus and pension. British citizenship is required to meet security clearances.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end software testing for large programs.
• SDET experience and strong Python coding.
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with HP/IBM ALM/ETM/DOORS/JIRA.
• Ability to work in defence/testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and document test/proving strategies and plans.
• Lead software testing activities and investigate defects.
• Support external software integration, trials, and demonstrations.
• Analyse logs and data to verify compliance and performance.
• Prepare test/analysis reports for certification and delivery.
