Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking a Procurement Agent in Bristol to join on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on negotiating pricing and terms, coordinating with program and customer teams, and preparing binding contracts to support the life-cycle of defence products and services.

The successful candidate will optimise the supply chain, manage supplier performance, and navigate security clearance requirements applicable in the UK, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• Experience supporting contract terms and conditions development, negotiations and raising contracts.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in this role.
• Ability to obtain a UK security Clearance for which the UK Government requires UK residency.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions for products and services.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure program and customer strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting.
• Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Optimise execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand.
• Manage supplier performance and relationships to ensure delivery, quality, and in-service performance.
• Mitigate risks and issues and initiate supplier improvement activities.
