Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced Database Engineer for a 24-month contract. The role covers engineering, configuration, deployment, administration and operational support of enterprise database platforms across relational and NoSQL systems.

Hybrid work with three days in the office in London or Sussex. You will work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra and Couchbase, building and maintaining environments across development, test, staging and production; and implementing IaC,

Qualifications

Hands-on database engineer with strong DBA fundamentals.
Experience with both relational and NoSQL technologies.
Strong in Oracle and PostgreSQL; practical exposure to Cassandra, MongoDB and/or Couchbase.
Comfortable with highly available distributed databases and automation.

Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, administer and support enterprise relational and NoSQL databases.
Provide engineering and operational support across Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra and Couchbase.
Build, configure and maintain database environments across development, test, staging and production.
Develop automated provisioning, configuration, deployment and lifecycle management.
