Exchange for Change seeks an experienced data governance leader to design and implement our enterprise data governance capability from the ground up. You will set standards, ownership and decision rights, guiding data flows across the Deposit Return Scheme ecosystem with close collaboration across Finance, Legal, and Technology.

You will define metadata, data quality standards and a scalable operating model, enabling trusted information for regulatory reporting, analytics and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise data governance in a large or regulated organisation.
• Ability to define governance frameworks, data ownership and decision rights.
• Experience embedding governance into technology platforms and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise data governance framework, including standards and ownership.
• Define participation standards, submission requirements and validation with participants.
• Establish master data domains and a trusted version of the truth across the scheme.
• Define metadata, glossaries, lineage and data quality standards.
• Partner with Data and Technology to embed governance into platform design and security.
• Enable governed self-service through trusted information products and a data catalogue.
• Ensure financial, operational and regulatory information is accurate and compliant.
• Build foundations to support predictive analytics and AI on trusted data.
• Foster relationships across the organisation and wider ecosystem.
