Job summary

Low Carbon Contracts Company is seeking a Lead Scheme Operations Manager to head Data Assurance and Data Management across CfD, Capacity Market and new low‑carbon schemes. Leeds or Birmingham base with hybrid work options, requiring in‑office presence two days per week.

You will establish data governance, deliver KPIs and dashboards, and lead a small team to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and embedding operational processes, data-quality controls and reporting.
• Experience of data management, governance and/or assurance in a complex operational environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate data, models and processes and identify effective improvements.
• Practical experience using SQL, Python, Power BI, advanced Excel or comparable tools to analyse data and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Own Scheme Operations’ approach to data governance, quality and assurance across operational processes.
• Manage operational data models, registers and critical data inputs, embedding validation, reconciliation and exception controls.
