Job summary

Low Carbon Contracts Company is seeking a Compliance Analyst - Scheme Compliance to contribute to the successful implementation and continual improvement of assurance services across multiple low carbon schemes. The role is based in Leeds or Birmingham with a hybrid working pattern requiring attendance in office two days per week.

The successful candidate will develop technical expertise in verification activities, maintain documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• 1-12+ months experience in sustainability, metering or verification roles.
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM or equivalent showing analytical thinking, problem-solving or technical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develops technical expertise on verification activities and contractual requirements (CfD, LCHA, DPA, ICC, WICC).
• Develops key documentation to support delivery of contractual requirements.
• Ensures assurance services meet verification body standards and best practice, maintains critical documentation and risk management.
• Conducts planning and support of verification activities; engages with producers, emitters and generators to agree emissions measurement procedures and review data.
• Works with internal teams to provide assurance support and assessments on live and upcoming schemes.
• Creates and maintains team documentation and ensures processes and external guidance are up to date and effective.
• Creates planning documents for verification activities against scheme requirements (Sustainability Criteria, Low Carbon Hydrogen Standard, Hydrogen & CO2 Metering).
• Reviews assurance services against industry best practice and works with SMEs to implement process changes to ensure compliance.
