Job summary

Low Carbon Contracts Company is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join the Scheme Compliance team in a hybrid role based in Leeds or Birmingham. The role focuses on verification activities, documentation, and ensuring contractual compliance across schemes such as CfD and HPBM.

You will work with internal teams and external partners to implement processes, improve quality, and support new schemes while aligning with sector standards and sustainability criteria.

Qualifications

• 1-12+ months experience in sustainability, metering or verification roles.
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM subject or related analytical field.
• Ability to understand new technical concepts quickly and translate them into delivery requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical expertise on verification activities and contractual requirements (CfD, LCHA, DPA, ICC, WICC).
• Create and maintain documentation to support delivery of contractual requirements.
• Ensure assurance services meet standards and best practice, including risk management and process improvements.
• Plan and support verification activities, engaging with producers and generators to agree procedures and review data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide assurance support for live and upcoming schemes.
• Maintain team documentation and update guidance to keep processes current.
• Prepare planning documents for verification activities against scheme requirements.
