Cygnet is strengthening its data capability and is seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing team in Birmingham on a hybrid schedule. You will design, build and maintain our data platform as we migrate to Snowflake, collaborating with BI, analytics and business teams to deliver trusted data.

You will work across data domains, translate requirements into robust solutions and contribute to a scalable data warehouse while balancing BAU with project delivery in a supportive environment.

Formación

• 3+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong SQL development skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience working in Azure.
• Experience designing and maintaining production data pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Building and maintaining reliable data pipelines using Snowflake and Azure.
• Developing ETL/ELT processes supporting Power BI.
• Contributing to a scalable, high‑performance data warehouse.
• Translating business and technical requirements into robust, well‑documented solutions.
• Continuously improving data pipelines through optimisation and best practices.
• Collaborating closely with BI, analytics and business teams to deliver trusted data.
