Job summary

Seccl is expanding its Data Analytics Engineer team in the UK, delivering production-quality datasets and scalable analytics products for our fintech clients.

You'll design robust data models with SQL/DBT, work with Python, and partner with Product, Engineering, Operations and client teams to translate business needs into reliable data solutions. Hybrid working with one day per week in our London, Edinburgh or Bath offices is available.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data modelling skills with large, complex datasets.
• Experience in Python and analytics engineering tooling (DBT, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain robust data models and datasets for analytics.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineers, Operations and client teams to translate requirements.
• Define metrics, modelling standards, and best practices across the business.
• Support real-time and incremental data processing with streaming tech (Kafka, MSK).
• Make datasets self-service, well documented and easy to consume.
