Job summary

Client Server in London with hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) is seeking a Data Engineer/Analyst. You will build data pipelines, model data, and contribute to scalable data products in a market data environment.

The role offers strong Python/SQL usage and growth toward data science tasks. The package includes a salary up to £120,000 plus bonus, three weeks per year to work anywhere, 25 days holiday (30 with tenure), a 9% pension contribution, healthcare for you and your family,

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in a similar Data Engineering or Analyst role.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience building data pipelines and handling large datasets.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and data engineering principles.
• Product mindset and collaborative with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and maintain robust data pipelines.
• Work with large and complex financial datasets.
• Develop data models and improve data quality.
• Create tooling and infrastructure for Quant and Data Science teams.
• Work with Python and SQL.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data products and processes.
• Over time, develop towards more Data Science and Quantitative responsibilities.
