Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Data Coordinator / Analyst in Salford to maintain data accuracy, produce reports, and support strategic decisions. This hybrid role partners with stakeholders across the business to improve data quality and drive efficiency.

You’ll help develop dashboards, run ad-hoc analyses, and ensure data governance while handling large data volumes with Excel and BI tools. The role combines meticulous data work with proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a data, administration, reporting, or analytical role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filtering, and reporting functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working with large volumes of data.

Responsibilities

• Collect, maintain, and update data across internal systems and databases.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through regular audits and validation checks.
• Prepare and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports to support business requirements.
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Respond to stakeholder requests for information and reporting.
• Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and performance metrics.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with data cleansing, system updates, and process improvements.
• Maintain documentation relating to data processes and reporting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and data protection requirements.
