We're hiring for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our IT Services team, based in Hockley, with hybrid or remote working considered. This is an exciting opportunity for a security professional to play a key role in protecting our organisation and customers from evolving cyber threats, whilst helping to shape and strengthen our security services.
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for operating, improving, and implementing security controls and services across internal and customer environments. You'll work across a broad range of security technologies including Microsoft Sentinel, the Microsoft Defender suite, Huntress, and Tenable, helping to detect, investigate, and respond to security threats whilst continually enhancing our security posture.
Working closely with the Head of Cyber Security and wider technical teams, you'll play a crucial role in security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, compliance activities, and the delivery of technical security projects. You'll help ensure our systems remain secure, resilient, and compliant, whilst supporting colleagues and customers with expert security guidance.
We're looking for someone with strong technical security knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll be comfortable investigating complex issues, implementing security controls, and communicating technical information clearly to a range of audiences.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary of £49,000 to £52,500 and a fantastic benefits package including:
