Delt Shared Services in Plymouth is seeking a Customer Architect to bridge customer ambitions with our technical expertise. This role leads, advocates, and collaborates to shape IT strategies and guide complex challenges with clarity and confidence.

You'll work with customer IT leaders to translate requirements into solution designs and roadmaps, influencing our technology direction and ensuring real business impact. This is a senior, strategic customer-facing role in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical leadership roles such as solutions or enterprise architecture.
• Strong relationship-building and communication with senior stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of core infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and cloud environments.
• Certifications in architecture, service management, project management or change management.
• Experience designing and implementing IT solutions in managed services environments.
• Expertise in workshop facilitation, problem solving, and solution design.
• Ability to challenge technical teams to deliver optimal results.

Responsibilities

• Build deep, trusted relationships with customers, acting as their advocate and technical guide.
• Partner with customers to develop and refine their IT strategies, ensuring alignment with future trends and business needs.
• Keep Delt aligned with customer requirements by understanding their technology stack and objectives.
• Lead the design of tailored solutions with Delt teams to create practical and impactful proposals.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for audiences at all levels.
• Deliver, support, and manage IT governance practices to ensure quality and compliance.
